ISOLATION (+)-CITRONELLAL FROM JAVA CITRONELLA OIL
Citronellal 97,3% has been isolated from citronella oil (Cymbopogon winterianus-Java type) by fractional distillation under reduced pressure at 5 cmHg and 110-120 oC. Enantioselective GC analysis on a Supelco β-DEX 225 column showed that citronellal contain of 88.21% ee of (R)-(+)-citronellal. Please obtain the ful text article in MJFAS.
